  • Temporary Work (International Relations) visa (subclass 403): This visa allows foreign government officials to work in specific circumstances that improve Australia’s international relations. They can teach foreign language, work in bilateral cooperation program between Australian and foreign government. The applicants can also work in Seasonal Worker Program or Pacific Labour Scheme program.
  • Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) visa (subclass 400): This visa is for applicants who need to come to Australia to work on short-term, highly specialized program. The applicants must have specialized skills, knowledge or experience that are not generally available in Australia.
  • Training visa (subclass 407): This visa is for applicants who need to visit Australia to undertake a workplace-based training (to improve the skills for current position, area of tertiary study or field of expertise), or a professional development training program. This visa allows applicant stay in Australia to work for their sponsor or trainer while taking the training program. Sometimes, it is a good visa to let applicant accumulate enough working experience to apply for 482 visa.
