The GTI program is a simplified migration pathway. Applicants who have been accepted by this program will be directed to apply for the Subclass 858 Distinguished Talent Visa.
The GTI program has the following parts:
1. Expression of Interest. This EOI is used to let applicants demonstrate their talents.
2. Talent Visa Application. Applicants who are accepted can then apply for the permanent visa.
There are 15,000 places available under the GTI program, it is tripled from 5,000 places in 2019. While, Skilled Independent (189 visa) and State/Territory Nominated (190 visa) has lost 60% of their quotas this year.
