• Bridging visa will be granted for 884 visa You can legally stay in Australia while waiting for the 884 visa. Having bridging visa is the biggest advantage for aged parent visa applicants, this is because DHA consider most aged parents are at their senior age and cannot travel safely. The bridging visa will allow them to stay in Australia and do not have to travel frequently due to short visa duration.
