Prospective Marriage visa pathway (subclass 300)

The Prospective Marriage Visa, known as Fiancée visa, is perfect for couples who are not married yet or have not established the De Facto Relationship. Unlike the 309/100 and 820/801 package application, 300 is a stand-alone application.
The Prospective Marriage Visa can let an applicant travel to Australia to marry his/her fiancée and stay for up to 9 months. Once the applicant and his/her partner are legally married in Australia, the applicant can follow the onshore pathway and apply for visa subclass 820 and 801.
